A NEW BEGINNING WITH NEW TOOLS!

It’s time to turn a new chapter in my life. I have had enough “leisure” time during the lockdown. I have taken a break in building the best version of myself and it has started to leave its marks. So enough of fooling around it’s time to get off my butt and continue on this eternal journey of self-growth.

But the journey isn’t the same anymore, I have decided to bring it up to a completely different level.

In this video, you will find out what triggered the decision to continue and what I’m exactly doing and using to bring this journey of building the best possible version of myself to a completely different level.

WEEK 2 WITH THE NEW BEGINNING!

As we had a holiday in Estonia before the last week and we also took a 4-day bike trip I skipped many tasks and decided to reset everything except my morning tasks which I'm doing every day anyway.

First 5 days went quite smooth and I got everything done. Then on Saturday, I failed with one visualization and also missed one task in my tasks (programming) diary. I spent the whole day with kids and pushed my second visualization further and further until I couldn't do it anymore.

Learning lesson: Don't push tasks further, do them as early as possible and you can enjoy the rest of the day. 😊 

Plus I just forgot to write enough things to my tasks diary.

But the good side is that I managed to gain another level 😎 I'm Apprentice 2 stripes now 🤩

WEEK 3 WITH THE NEW BEGINNING!

Not the best week, but not the worst also 😉

Sticking to my ideal eating habits is still the most challenging part. Especially with "Sticking to the first decision of food portion" No matter how much I eat, I still want more and more 🍔 🍵 😫 

This weekend I took very easily. Just enjoyed it and because of that I missed the visualization part and also as we had a late movie night, I didn't clean the apartment too.

But morning routine is still going strong! 😎 No falling off there.
Morning is the most important part. If you win the morning, you will win the day. 🍾

WEEK 4 WITH THE NEW BEGINNING!

Starting to get the hang of it. 😊

"Sticking To The First Decision Of Food Portion" is still my main nemesis.

In the morning I'm writing down the meal plan for the day. But on weekends, when we are watching a movie or spending quality time in some other way, I tend to still eat much more than the initial plan. 🙄 

But other than that, things are starting to look good and streaks are increasing. 🤩

WEEK 5 WITH THE NEW BEGINNING!

Struggling with the same tasks, "Eating schedule" and "Sticking to the eating portions". But managed to get a new daily streak record with this new beginning. 

In my original challenge, last autumn, I managed to get the daily streak to 21 days. So there is still room for improvement. 😉

WEEK 6 WITH THE NEW BEGINNING!

Finally, the perfect week. Took me 6 weeks to achieve it but eventually, I was strong enough to stick to my tasks and nail a perfect week.

BACK IN THE BEGINNING!

WHAT HAPPENED?

Summer vacation happened 😆 I was camping with my kids and also had a 4day bike trip.

Although my plan wasn't to break all the streaks that you see on the picture. I wanted to continue with my morning routine as this is the most important part of the challenge. And I could stick to the plan for the first few days. But ... but on a vacation and especially in nature you cannot control how things are unfolding 😉

Streaks started to break one after another until on the last night of our bike trip it started to rain and our tent couldn't fight off the water and we had to back our things really fast in the morning 😆 

So, now we are back at the beginning with almost all the streaks from which many were exceeding 260 days. It takes quite a lot of time to catch up again 😉 

But as the saying goes: "You haven't failed until you haven't quit!" So, no matter how many times you have been knocked down, your goal is to just stand back up and proceed. 

On the good note, on Monday, when I continued with the challenge with full force I managed to reach another level 😊

WEEK 10 WITH THE NEW BEGINNING!

After the vacation and falling off from almost everything, I'm now starting to get back on track. During the first week after the vacation, I still failed with few things but then I decided that enough is enough and I said to myself, you are stronger than this. 😀 
The result, a new record during the new beginning. 🤩 The overall best is 21 days that I managed to do at the beginning of the year https://forum.2freedom.eu/postid/181/

WEEK 11 WITH THE NEW BEGINNING!

A new record with the new "run", 16 perfect days in a row.

I took a break and enjoyed the weekend so the old overall record has some time to enjoy its reign (record = 21 days) 😉

WEEK 12 WITH THE NEW BEGINNING!

I had a "kids weekend" and failed with drinking enough water and also visualizing tasks beforehand. No excuses, water I just forgot, and visualization ... well ... was a pretty packed schedule, but it's not an excuse to skip it. So, there is still room to grow 😉

WEEK 14 WITH THE NEW BEGINNING!

Not the best week 😉 

On Wednesday I started to work on a new project and I worked with it much longer than I would have wanted. When you are working on something with your full focus it's so tempting to do "another thing" and then another and another. In my head I'm promising: "I will finish this and then I call it for a day" but I just cannot stop 😆

During that work, I also eat more than I would have wanted. Plus of course, I failed with the bluescreen before the sleep.

At the weekend we went to a wedding. I planned to stick to my tasks but I failed. No excuses here.

WEEK 15 WITH THE NEW BEGINNING!

No one is perfect!

We all have bad days and bad weeks. We all have our own inner demons, so do I.

If we want to grow, first we have to acknowledge that we have those inner demons, then we have to accept them because they are part of who we are. They are part of us and they make us who we are. Ignoring them would be ignoring ourselves.

Once we have accepted our inner demons, we can start to face them, we can start the inner work for self-growth and becoming who we want to become.

The journey to greatness and becoming the best we can be is not easy work. It requires commitment, facing our fears, and stepping out of our comfort zone.

Becoming the best version of ourselves is a never-ending journey. But it's worth it all the way.

By becoming the best ourselves, we can inspire others around us, we can be the beacon of light when there is darkness all around us and there seems to be no way out.

By becoming our greatest versions, we can make the world a better place. If you want the world around you to change, look inside, and start changing yourself first.

Be extraordinary my friends!

WEEK 16 WITH THE NEW BEGINNING!

Things are starting to get out of hands and we have to do something about it.

I'm really close to launching my own project and I've been working on it until late in the evening. I've been snacking also during those working hours.

The result?

You see it in the picture!

Working on a project shouldn't be an excuse to not stick to the schedule. It's just so easy to get carried away with thoughts like: "I'm going to finish this and then I go to sleep".

But this is just an emotional excuse. All days have 24 hours so if you steal from one evening you have to return those stolen hours the next morning.

What can we do about it?

Let's turn the challenge itself into a challenge 😆 

From the new week, I have added a new challenge to my challenge list "Perfect Challenge Score for 21 days (NEW)"

This gives the urge to finish every day with a perfect score. Let's see how it goes.

PS I have added few more challenges to the list. 2 of them I have added last week and one more this week.

Here is the full list of all new challenges.

As I love sweets the hardest is probably no sweets until the end of the year. 😉
